After starting my film school journey at Seattle Film Institute in the fall of 2011, the first film I completed was a B&W Super 8mm film called “PILL.” They gave us the Super8 cameras on the first day of class and one 50 foot roll of B&W Super 8mm film. This gave us about 3 1/2 minutes of raw footage. I ended up with a 1 minute and 58 second film that was edited in Final Cut Pro 7 (the software that SFI was teaching in 2011-2012). I also did all of the music for this film.
This is the story of a youth that must take a pill every day to hold an inner demon at bay.
